This group exhibition explored the hidden and intricate relationships between landscapes and trade, connecting geographies, resources, and commodities through stories of erosion and extraction.
the exhibition traced the busy maritime route on which Jeddah is located, linking East Asia and Europe via the Red Sea and the Suez Canal.

Featuring works from the Art Jameel Collection alongside loans and new commissions, the exhibition brought together international artists documenting disappearing landscapes,
interconnected economies, and the impact of trade on communities. Through evocative
depictions of ports, coastlines, and trade routes, the artists illuminated the movement of goods and people, questioning the inevitability of loss and change.
